While AI is becoming more commonplace in law, it is still not the norm. In a 2023 survey of firms of different sizes and disciplines, the American Bar Association found that the majority (58.8%) didn’t know or didn’t have enough information about AI to gauge whether they wanted to incorporate these tools in their work- flows. Another 20.5% had no interest in purchasing AI tools.
